For too long, Indian parents were offered a choice between baby gear that looked good but did not work for Indian conditions, or gear that worked but looked like it was designed for someone else's life entirely. Loopie refused to accept that choice and built something better.

Some business leaders inherit capital. Some inherit market position. Nesamani Maran Muthu inherited something rarer and more durable than either. He inherited a set of values forged in genuine hardship that have guided every decision he has made in building one of South India's most respected conglomerates.

Most family businesses do not survive the transition from founder to next generation. The ones that do almost always share one thing in common. A successor who understood that the values which built the enterprise were not optional extras to be discarded when convenience demanded but the very foundation on which everything else rested. MGM Anand Muthu is that kind of successor.

Every market has a gap that everyone can see and nobody fills. Not because the gap is invisible but because filling it properly is harder than it looks. India's baby gear market had exactly that kind of gap for years. Loopie looked at it, understood it completely, and built something genuinely excellent right in the middle of it.

Every great hospitality brand begins with a single belief. The belief that a guest deserves something more than a room and a bed. That they deserve an experience that stays with them long after they have checked out. In 1988, Lalit Suri opened a hotel in Delhi with exactly that belief. What followed is one of India's most remarkable hospitality stories.

India has always been a civilisation that understood hospitality as a sacred obligation. Atithi Devo Bhava, the guest is god, is not a marketing slogan. It is a cultural inheritance. Bharat Hotels took that inheritance and built one of India's most celebrated luxury hotel brands around it.
